Phd. Sebastián García Galán

Dr. S. García Galán Received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the Málaga University and the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), in 1995 and 2004, respectively.Since 1999, he is an associate professor in Telematics Engineering at the Telecommunication Engineering Department of the Jaén University.

He has been the Dean of the Linares School of Engineering at the University of Jaén (2012-2020), and previously the Vice-Dean for Telecommuncations Studies at the Linares School of Engineering (2004-2012)

His current research interests include engineering applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, grid computing, cloud computing and scheduling. Dr. García Galán is an active member of the research group "Signal Processing for Telecommunication Systems" (Group TIC-188 of the PAI) of Jaén University. He has been involved in research projects of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education (MEC), and private companies. He has been the supervisor of three PhD Thesis. He also is Advisor of the Spanish National Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP) in the field of Electronic Engineering and communications for the approval of research Project.
