Assistant Professor at the University of Jaén (Spain), received her Ph.D. in Linguistics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (April 2002). She got the Master’s thesis Extraordinary Award of the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, as well as the Ph.D Extraordinary Award of the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She has been a visiting researcher at Rice University, the University at Buffalo, the University of Manchester and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Her primary research interests are in typology, syntax, syntax-semantics linking, and language documentation (specially, Wixarika, a Uto-Aztecan language). |
